What will you be doing?
In this role as Function Design Engineer - Aftertreatment in Eindhoven, you'll be responsible for leading the development of OBD/OBM related control concepts for heavy-duty diesel, hybrid, and hydrogen engines and aftertreatments. You will collaborate with various teams and stakeholders.
- Develop OBD/OBM control concepts and system-level requirements.
- Create development plans for control updates related to OBD regulations.
- Collaborate with internal teams (calibration, validation, compliance).
- Analyze regulatory requirements and conduct impact assessments.
- Support calibration engineers and provide feedback to suppliers.
Functie-eisen
As a Function Design Engineer - Aftertreatment, you are a highly skilled and experienced professional. You possess a strong understanding of OBD regulations and emission control systems. Your expertise in the development cycle, including control development, is essential.
- MSc in Automotive or Mechanical Engineering
- Experience in exhaust emission or OBD development
- Knowledge of EU and NA emission and OBD regulations
