We are looking for a Lead Revenue Accounting to join the Nike team! In this role, you are responsible for the accurate and timely execution of the corporate accounting function within a Geo for the specific income/spendtype as applicable. For example, revenue, inventory, selling, general & admin expenses (SG&A) such as payroll, fixed assets, leases, close and consolidations, etc. Furthermore, you serve as the point of contact for business partners for accounting inquiries and resolves escalations.

We are looking for someone to start as soon as possible. It is a temporary role till the end of March 2026, for 40 hours a week.

We are looking for someone with the following experience, skills and knowledge:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field;
  • Minimum of 6 years of work experience in finance or accounting;
  • Certificied Public Accountant preferred;
  • Technical Accounting knowledge;
  • Proficiency in SAP is required;
  • Experience with Blackline is a plus;
  • Managed Service Provider Experience; working with MSP is advantageous;
  • You are a teamplayer, a possitive attitude and the ability to work well in a team is essential.

The EMEA HR Accounting Lead role encompasses a variety of responsibilities and requires specific skills and experience:

• Payroll and Employee Benefits: Managing payroll and employee-related benefits accounting across various EMEA countries, ensuring compliance with local payroll government requirements;
• ICFR preparation/review: Involvement in the preparation and review of Internal Control over Financial Reporting (ICFR).
• GL Reconciliation: Preparing and reviewing General Ledger (GL) reconciliations in Blackline.
• Ad-Hoc Tasks/Reporting: Handling ad-hoc tasks and reporting as needed.
• Project Support: Supporting project initiatives

Your key accountabilities:

  • Maintains documentation of corporate accounting policies, procedures, and controls as influenced by local requirements;
  • Reviews significant contracts to ensure accounting accuracy and appropriate accounting treatment, addressing any accounting implications;
  • Provides technical accounting guidance on complex transactions, including legal transactions, impairment, and investments;
  • Leads methodology to account for reserves based on historical performance and business conditions;
  • Collaborates with business partners to review/analyze monthly actual result against forecast;
  • Prepares, reviews and approves manual journal entries related to specific income/spend type, and resolves complex disrepancies and reconciliation issues;
  • Reviews and approves MJEs prepared by MSP (shared delivery partner);
  • Prepares, reviews and approves reporting packages of corporate accounting activities within a Geo.
