We are looking for a Lead Labor Compliance Consultant to join the Nike team.
The Lead Labor Compliance Consultant is responsible for understanding and communicating the details of labor laws and regulations at local, state, and country levels as well as internal policies impacting employees. This role requires that the Lead Labor Compliance Consultant to support a compliance program that both mitigates legal risks to the enterprise and helps HR teammates to deliver best-in-class operations.

It is a temporary role for one year, starting 1st of June 2026. You will work 40 hours a week. The European Headquarters of Nike are located in Hilversum.

€ 31,- till € 45,- per hour based on experience

What you bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree or Juris Doctor preferred;
  • Minimum of five years of experience in HR or law firm, with a focus on labor compliance or employment law;
  • Extensive knowledge of and experience researching labor law and regulations;
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and legal research skills;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with and influence key stakeholders;
  • Ability to understand complex compliance related matters to support responses to labor inquiries;
  • Proficiency in HRIS and other relevant software applications; employee data privacy knowledge.

In the role of Lead Labor Compliance Consultant you support and promote a culture centered on labor compliance and the employee experience; champion ethical behaviors in line with the business strategy of the
organization and its leaders. Furthermore, you effectively communicate risks and advocate for compliance program to key stakeholders. Engage with an inclusive and growth-oriented team in a cross-functional environment.

• HR Systems to timely report to labor authorities and implement compliance programs and policies.
• Employment Counsel to align on matters where legal risk to the enterprise are concerned.
• People Solutions Consultants to understand needs of business and partner on employee outreach.
• Global Process Owners to audit compliance program and direct updates where necessary.
• People Solutions Services to provide regular counsel on escalations and policy inquiries.

Below you will find your responsibilities:

  • Support a comprehensive labor compliance program and work with stakeholders to sustain the program and ensure adherence to company policies;
  • Monitor and interpret labor laws, regulations, and industry standards and provide counsel to HR leaders on those matters;
  • Perform regular audits on HR systems and processes, assess any compliance risks and develop corrective action plans where required;
  • Collaborate with SMEs within HR, legal and across the enterprise to address compliance issues and provide guidance on labor-related matters;
  • Prepare and submit required reports to regulatory agencies and ensure timely and
  • accurate responses to requests for information;
  • Lead training and education to HR teammates and management on labor compliance requirements and best practices; respond to questions from employee-facing HR professionals on complex matters involving labor laws and internal policies;
  • Counsel HR SMEs on complete compliance matters impacting HR operations.

In this role you will report to the senior Manager of Labor Compliance.
