As an assembly worker, you enjoy tinkering and are familiar with mechanical and/or electrical work. You have worked with various (hand) tools and can read technical drawings. Also:
- you want to work full-time in day shift
- you speak good Dutch or English
- you preferably have a completed technical education or demonstrable assembly experience
As an assembly worker at Hyster-Yale, you will manufacture forklift trucks. You will be part of the assembly department and end up working at various stations. The work processes and techniques are new and advanced. Thanks to a good introduction program and internal training you will be trained as an assembly worker. This keeps your job varied and challenging. In addition to assembling your part of the forklift, you check the line and make adjustments where necessary. You also keep tools clean and keep track of the day's tasks. The tasks are well described in work instructions. And your colleagues are happy to help you should you need extra help. You work in a hall that is completely ergonomic, so you can do your job safely.
You will join a large international manufacturer of forklifts, Hyster-Yale, as an assembly worker. In Nijmegen hundreds of trucks are built every year, together with as many as 700 employees.
