As a reachtruck driver, you must meet the following requirements:

• you are willing to work in Meppel
• you have experience on the reach truck
• you have a reachtruck certificate or you want to get one
• you are available fulltime
• you live in Meppel or you have a car, bicycle or scooter to get to Meppel
• you speak Dutch or English
• you are at least 18 years old

Your work as a reachtruck driver makes a difference at Scania Meppel. Together with a committed team, you make sure materials are at the right place on time. You keep the logistics process running and ensure that production does not come to a stop.

With your reachtruck experience you supply the lines and process goods in a safe and organized way. In short: you are an indispensable link in the whole at Scania Meppel!

• transporting goods from point A to B (throughout the fabric)
• taking or placing orders from high racking
• checking goods

Scania Meppel specializes in painting cab and chassis parts for trucks. This is done partly automatically by advanced robots and partly by people. The pre-assembly of parts also takes place here. The parts are then sent to assembly plants in Zwolle, Sweden and France, where the trucks are further assembled. You work in a modern, clean and safe working environment.

• you work in three shifts
• morning shift starts at 06:00 and ends at 14:18
• the evening shift begins at 14:18 and ends at 22:36
• the night shift starts at 22:36 and ends at 06:00
• You have a chance of a permanent contract if you perform well
