As a Maintenance Engineer - Clean Utilities and HVAC, you support the Business System Owner (BSO) in maintaining and optimizing essential GMP utility systems, including Clean Water Systems (WDI/WFI), HVAC systems and their controls (BMS, EMS). You’ll help ensure our utility infrastructure delivers high reliability, GMP compliance, and operational excellence. From investment planning to change management and system handovers, your input will be critical to the future of our manufacturing capabilities.

Develop and present long-term investment plans (CAPEX) in coordination with Engineering & Maintenance teams.
Lead or support changes through the Management of Change (MoC) process, ensuring technical feasibility and regulatory compliance.
Provide technical support during the design, commissioning, qualification, and handover of clean utility systems.
Ensure systems are audit-ready and compliant with GMP, EHS, and internal J&J standards.
Analyze system performance and identify continuous improvement opportunities.
Review and edit P&IDs, and interpret technical documentation.
Assist in setting up preventive maintenance strategies in SAP PM or other CCMS systems.

Functie-eisen

HBO degree or equivalent technical education
2+ years of experience in a regulated (preferably pharmaceutical/GMP) environment
Strong knowledge of GMP systems, WDI/WFI, HVAC, BMS & EMS
Ability to read/edit P&IDs and understand technical design/control strategies
Proven problem-solving skills and eye for detail
Excellent communication skills, including fluency in English
Experience with SAP PM or similar systems is a plus
