Junior Automation Engineer
We are seeking a skilled Junior Automation Engineer to join our MAKE Asset Management (MAM) - Execution Systems (ES) team in Leiden. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing, validating, qualifying, and maintaining ISA-95 level 1 & 2 manufacturing automated systems and their interfaces, ensuring compliance with cGMP and company manufacturing standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and execute PI tag validation within the PI workflow.
- Ensure timely and reliable execution of scheduled tasks.
- Collaborate with project teams, IT, and quality departments to support system changes.
- Contribute to data-driven manufacturing improvements as part of the Data & Strategic Technologies team.
Functie-eisen
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Automation or relevant Engineering discipline.
- 1+ years of experience with OSIsoft PI.
- 1-2 years in a GxP-regulated environment, with knowledge of GAMP.
- Strong analytical thinking and quality-driven approach.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Fluency in English or Dutch (both preferred but not required).

- Duration: 12-month contract with possible extension
- Hours: 40 hours per week
