We are seeking a skilled Mechatronics Design Engineer to develop high-precision motion and control systems for next-generation semiconductor equipment. This role involves designing, integrating, and testing mechatronic sub-systems that achieve sub-nanometer accuracy in optical positioning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop mechatronic design concepts and advanced control techniques for high-precision motion systems.
- Collaborate with mechanical, electronics, software, and optics teams to ensure system reliability.
- Work with external suppliers and cross-functional teams on product design and optimization.
- Conduct risk analysis, troubleshooting, and sustaining engineering to enhance system performance.
- Participate in concept design and testing of future high-precision equipment.
- Occasionally travel to the US and Asia for technical collaboration.
Functie-eisen
Qualifications & Experience:
- MSc or PhD in Mechatronics, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, or Technical Physics with a focus on Dynamics & Control.
- 5+ years of experience in high-precision mechatronic systems and control engineering.
- Strong knowledge of MATLAB, Simulink, and Python (preferred).
- Experience in multidisciplinary projects involving mechatronics, optics, and software.

Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work.
