Our client is a leading manufacturer of vehicles, actively shaping the future of heavy-duty vehicles with Battery Electric Vehicles, Hybrids, and Hydrogen-powered vehicles. We're looking for a talented Wire Harness Bundle Engineer to join our Harness Engineering group within the Vehicle Electrics/Electronics (VEE) department.
Your Responsibilities:
- As a Wire Harness Bundle Engineer, you'll be a vital part of our simultaneous engineering teams (SE teams) that include Product Development, Production Engineering, Purchasing, and more. You'll develop and coordinate the optimal routing for wiring harnesses, manage interfaces, and ensure seamless integration with installation groups within Product Development.
- You'll be responsible for the release of electrical components related to bundle engineering, for both prototype and serial production. Your designs will prioritize reliability, manufacturability, cost-effectiveness, and weight optimization.
- You'll collaborate with system owners, schematic engineers, and fellow bundle engineers to create vehicle schematics. Your expertise will be crucial in adjusting and refining these schematics.
- You'll actively organize and participate in SE teams to support the development process.
- You'll create 3D CAD files for wire harness routing in NX and process them via Teamcenter.
- You'll use specialized software (Saber) to develop diagrams, product drawings, and composition drawings.
- You'll be responsible for initiating and following up on necessary tests.
As a Wire Harness Bundle Engineer, you'll work closely with fellow engineers and report to the Supervisor, Harness Engineering.

What we're looking for:
- HBO/Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Relevant experience in Automotive and Electrical Installation.
- Experience with High Voltage and Low Voltage systems in Automotive/Electrical Vehicles is a plus.
