Application Automation Developer

(Python, Ansible, Java, Cucumber)

About the job

As Application Automation Developer, you will develop in a multidisciplinary Agile team, that maintains, develops, and tests the infrastructure software platforms for combat management systems. These development teams are responsible for the entire development chain - from requirements analysis, development, maintenance, patching, integration, deployment, testing, validation, to demonstrating the current status of the product. Your role will be diverse, and flexibility is key.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop automation tools using Python and Ansible.
  • Write and maintain test automation code in Java, leveraging the Cucumber framework.
  • Ensure high-quality code by adhering to best practices and performing code reviews.
  • Debug and resolve technical issues, providing reliable and scalable automation solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and implement solutions.

Functie-eisen

Requirements:

  • Strong experience in Python and Ansible for automation development (5+ years).
  • Proficiency in Java and experience with Cucumber for test automation.
  • Solid understanding of software development life cycles and automation frameworks.

    • Git, Jenkins, Maven, Jira, Confluence.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, Agile environment.
  • Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.

You hold a bachelor or master degree in computer science, IT service management or comparable. We expect you to possess fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
