Deputy Managing Director Benelux
As Deputy Managing Director Benelux you will be responsible for the profitability of three business segments: papers, print & office, visual communication and (industrial) packaging. Together with the Managing Director of France & Benelux and the Executive committee members you develop a (sales) strategy that contributes to sustainable profitability in the Benelux.
A very important aspect of this position is to align, coordinate and stimulate the internal collaboration between different departments to further build and develop the organization. Whilst ensuring that Antalis excellence and values are internally implemented and transferred to the external market.
Strong focus will be needed on leading, coaching and developing the sales, category, technical services and inside sales teams. The sales strategies for the three business segments need continuous improvement and adaptions to the current market requirements. This includes analyses of the current customer portfolios, product strategy per customer, e-commerce developments and improving customer and supplier contracts.
Functie-eisen
General requirements:
- Master’s degree in general management, business administration, sales, marketing or equivalent;
- Proven general and sales management experience at senior level;
- Knowledge of paper, visual communication or (industrial) packaging distribution businesses;
- Financial skills to read, construct and improve a P&L, budgets and customer profitability;
- Analytical skills with to analyze management reports, market analyses, business cases and sales action plans;
- Experience in a (international) matrix organisation;
- Fluent Dutch and English in speaking and writing, French is a plus
Competenties
Responsibilites:
- Monthly reporting to the Managing Director France & Benelux with profit & loss statements, gross margin, net profit, information on evolution, results, trends and expectations as well as market information on competition.
- Participate in the business review meetings, budget and forecast presentations, management meetings and any additional forum or meetings when needed.
- Preparing the draft annual budget and action plan for Benelux (with key indicators, objectives on all aspects), presents project initiatives for the Benelux business.
- Ensuring compliance of the activities of the company with all legal acts applicable to the company in the Benelux.
You will be based in Almere (The Netherlands) and will travel up to two to three days per week in the Benelux, with monthly visit to Antalis France, in Paris. We are looking for a Managing Director that feel at ease to function as Deputy to the Managing Director France & Benelux as wants to become a trustworthy business partner whilst taking responsibility of Antalis in the Benelux.
