We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer with a strong focus on process and mechanical engineering for a temporary, project-based role within our factory. While experience with electrical systems is a plus, it is not mandatory. This role is designed to achieve specific project objectives and is best suited for a mid-level to senior professional.

You will coordinate and execute a variety of projects within the factory, managing between 5–20 smaller projects with budgets ranging from €10k to €100k, as well as 1–3 medium-sized projects with budgets between €100k and €300k. Responsibilities:

Coordinate and execute multiple projects in process and mechanical engineering, from technical specification to implementation.
Analyze and select mechanical and process solutions in collaboration with internal stakeholders across different departments.
Collaborate with other technical disciplines, such as IT, automation, and utility engineering, to develop integrated solutions.
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards during project execution.
Manage project risks, including budget control, timelines, and reporting to stakeholders.
Maintain project documentation, including technical specifications, and ensure smooth system handovers to operational teams.

Required Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree (HBO) in Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, or equivalent.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a technical role, with proven project management experience in industrial environments, preferably in the food, chemical, or pharmaceutical industries.
Expertise: Strong knowledge of process and mechanical systems, along with experience in project planning, risk management, and budget control.

Skills:

Ability to independently execute projects according to company standards and processes without direct supervision.
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Analytical thinking and decision-making within the scope of project objectives.
