Role and Responsibilities:
As a Mechanical Design Engineer at Yacht, you'll play a pivotal role in developing and sustaining products. Your responsibilities will include:

Conceptualization and Design: Contribute to product development through specification, concept studies, volume control, interface definition, and mechanical design of components and subsystems.

State-of-the-Art Design: Utilize the latest design methods and construction principles to create innovative and technically feasible designs.

Bill of Materials Management: Maintain the Bill of Materials (BOM) in our database, adhering to engineering change process procedures, and collaborating with stakeholders.

Qualification and Testing: Drive the qualification of designs by specifying tests, designing test equipment, and overseeing prototype testing.

Documentation: Deliver technical product documentation required for the release of designs for volume production.

Collaboration: Collaborate with manufacturing teams to identify and implement improvements in integration processes.
Functie-eisen
Education and Experience:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

3-10 years of relevant experience in mechanical design.

Proficiency in construction and precise position principles.

Ability to translate concepts into practical designs that meet specified requirements.

Experience with 3D CAD modeling tools, preferably Siemens NX and Teamcenter.

Mechanical tolerance calculations, with statistical analysis experience as a plus.
