What do you bring?
Communication and assertiveness: You work closely with colleagues and find it easy to ask for help when needed.
Language skills: Proficiency in written and spoken English is a must; Dutch is a plus.
Accuracy and integrity: You work meticulously and know how to handle confidential information.
Digital skills: You enjoy working with various systems and applications. We provide thorough training and have extensive instructional material available on our intranet. However, it’s important that you’re comfortable working independently with applications. Being intuitive with systems and applications is a big plus.
You will work for the Intelligent Systems department, where groundbreaking research in Computer Science takes place. Together with six other Management Assistants, you ensure everything runs smoothly.
Your tasks will include:
Acting as a point of contact for staff, students, guests, and external parties.
Assisting international researchers by taking over administrative tasks or connecting them with the right colleagues (such as HR or Finance).
Handling financial- and HR- administrative tasks.
Placing orders, such as for catering and office supplies.
Organizing meetings (on-site, online, or hybrid) and assisting with the organization of larger events like seminars and conferences.
