As a Customer Service Agent at Eurail you will help customers make their European train journey go as smoothly as possible. We offer you a flexible job with a minimum of 24 hours up to 40 hours a week. You can work Monday through Sunday between 7 AM and 1 AM. After you have finished the training, you can also work from home for 50% of your workweek. The rest of the hours you will work together with your (international) colleagues at the Eurail's office near Utrecht Central Station.

You, as a customer service agent at Eurail, love helping customers and you always want to go the extra mile to answer their questions. You have amazing English skills in both reading and writing. Also, you are an empathetic person and you have the ability to read between the lines and understand the real question. You are a flexible teamplayer looking for a temporary job.
- You have excellent writing and speaking skills in English;
- You are accurate, with a keen eye for detail;
- You have a good understanding of European geography;
- You have a EU passport or a work permit in the Netherlands, plus a BSN and IBAN and your are currently residing in the Netherlands;
- You are available to start with the training from the 14th of April on;
- You have no holiday plans in the months: June, July and August.
As a customer service agent at Eurail you will be responsible for answering customers’ questions through email and the Live chat. So, it is in important that you have excellent writing skills and you are able to switch between and work with different computer systems. With your great typing skills you are able to answer the traveler's questions quickly and efficiently.
In your first three weeks you will attend training sessions where you will learn everything you need to know about the different travel passes and traveler questions. Your training will be in a group of approximately 10 people, so you'll feel right at home. The training starts the 14th of April and is mandatory.
Eurail is a very international company which offers train tickets to travel around Europe with. They provide customer service assistance in all kinds of fields. You'll answer questions about the different passes, the booking process, and assist while travelers are on their trip. You will join our passionate team and help us deliver the best customer service.
At Eurail they work in shifts. Every 4 weeks Eurail asks for your availability. The schedules are based on your availability. Since Eurail provides services for their customers 7 days a week from 7 AM to 1 AM, we are looking for customer service agents who are very flexible.
You are available to:
- Work at weekends, at least 16 hours per month;
- Work a flexible schedule between 24 and 40 hours per week;
- At least 4 hours per shift;
- Hybrid working schedule from home and the office in Utrecht;
- We offer you a temporary job until the 1st of September;
- We also cover all travel expenses by public transport and 40% additional pay during inconvenient hours.
