Smith & Nephew is a global medical technology company dedicated to helping healthcare professionals improve patient lives. We are currently looking for a Warehouse Supervisor to join our logistics team and ensure smooth daily warehouse operations.

• Previous experience in a warehouse role
• Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Good communication skills in English and Dutch
• Understanding of health and safety regulations in a warehouse setting

Using pick list details, the operator will retrieve the designated tray from the shelf and prepare it for packing, following a specific process. The corresponding IT transactions will be performed in SAP to confirm the picking and shipping of the tray.

Upon receiving a returned set from the customer, the operator will inspect it and replenish any missing items, adhering to a defined process that includes IT transactions in SAP. Once the set has been fully inspected and restocked, it will be physically placed back into storage, ready for the next scheduled surgery.

Stored sets may require replenishment of missing or depleted items. If an item is unavailable, an order will be placed with GDC Arvato NL to restock it. Upon arrival at LDC NL, the operator will perform IT transactions in SAP and physically integrate the item into the set to complete the replenishment.

Each set in the warehouse consists of multiple items, some of which may expire or need replacement due to damage or other reasons. Every item movement requires an IT transaction in SAP to maintain full traceability of all components and instruments, including those with serial numbers.

The warehouse has a dedicated email address for internal customers to submit specific requests or inquiries. These may include stock availability or transfer requests, urgent customer needs, or other operational concerns.
