We are in search of a passionate Nike expert and experienced manager who knows Nike back to front and will educate and inspire the Firstline of retail in EMEA. As EKIN LEAD you will help lead and develop the education and engagement approach that will equip our retail store teams (Firstline) with all relevant information and understanding of Nike so they can always serve the best of Nike across the Nike Marketplace.
It is a temporary role due to a sick leave. It's a role till the end of August 2025 for 40 hours a week. You will work from the European Headquarters of Nike in Hilversum.

Retail marketing lead
Nike requires someone who can cross functionally work, influence and communicate at senior level with a broad range of stakeholders across the Nike matrix. You will be team first-orientated and strategically minded to deliver impactful educational and engagement experiences.
You will have proven experience of leading cross functional project teams and activating a multi-national strategy including content creation, production and delivery and have an understanding of the tools required to do this. You will be an inspiring storyteller and presenter able to build a deep knowledge of Nike’s history and heritage, seasonal product innovation and Nike’s retail concepts and brand experiences.
You will have the ability to lead and influence others, both directly and indirectly. You will be courageous in your actions and have the confidence to speak up as and when the situation requires.
- Strong connection to the sporting goods, lifestyle and fashion industry, you understand the retail landscape and have retail experience;
- Minimum of 5+ years experience in a similar role or employee training experience;
- Previous work experience at Nike is a big pré or work experience in a big international organization;
- 2+ years of directly/indirectly leading a diverse and high performing team;
- Proven ability to work cross functionally and influence stakeholders, proven project management is essential;
- Strategic thinking mindset with a forward looking, creative vision;
- You have experience in content creation and online storytelling;
- You are a strong communicator and have a flexible mindset, there might be a chance that you need to work some hours in the weekend or evenings.
As EKIN LEAD you will be part of the EKIN experience leadership team, that will be tasked with educating, inspiring and empowering the Firstline of retail, to be Nike’s competitive advantage.
You will help plan and prioritise all seasonal & content & experiences that include (but is not limited to): brand defining stories, product innovation, Nike history and heritage, Purpose (Move to Zero). These experiences will come to life across a variety of formats and platforms including (but not limited to) digital live-stream presentations, Virtual webinars and immersive in-person experiences.
As part of the EKIN Experience team you will support Nike Direct stores but will have equal accountability for the holistic education of Running across the whole Nike Sport Market Place, across EMEA.
Using insights captured from our Firstline teams you will continuously fine tune all athlete experiences to ensure they remain impactful and influencial to our consumer facing teams.
You will report directly in to the EMEA Director, EKIN Retail Brand be part of the exciting Nike Retail Marketing organization. Your key strategic partners will include but not limited to: Field based EKIN teams, Partner marketing, Partner operations (wimoc) brand constructs, MPU leads, Fields of Play, product merchandising and other global counterparts, where you will work together to identify seasonal & 365 priorties.
By maintaining a strong connection to the Global EKIN experience function you will continue to elevate the authenticity and consistentcy of the EKIN’s within EMEA and the credibilty of its Firstline first approach.
