Logistics employee 2 shifts

At Scania in Meppel, plastic cabin and chassis parts are painted. These parts are brought to Scania's three European factories. As a logistics employee you are indispensable to ensure that the parts are in the right place on time!

It is important that as a logistics employee you meet the following requirements:

• you are available full-time
• you are available in 3 shifts
• you have at least six months of experience with a forklift or reach truck
• you master the Dutch or English language
• you have your own transport to get to Meppel

Your service always starts with a consultation. In the team you discuss what is going to happen that day. You ensure that the various boxes, parts and materials are delivered to the right place within the factory. You do this with extreme care and precision.

• order picking
• transporting goods from point A to B
• taking of placing orders from the high racks
• checking goods

Scania is an international company that produces and sells trucks, buses, engines and services in more than 100 countries. The logistics process at Scania Productie Meppel is important for delivering the right parts in the right order. The parts are transported to factories in Zwolle, Angers and Södertälje. This way they can make the best trucks.

• you work in three shifts
• the morning service starts at 6:00 am and ends at 2:18 pm
• the evening service starts at 2:18 PM and ends at 10:36 PM (with the exception of Friday evenings, which end at 11:00 PM)
• the night shift starts at 10:36 PM and ends at 6:00 AM (with the exception of Sunday night, which starts at 10:00 PM)
