Lab Technician Advanced Therapies

As our ideal candidate, you have a strong work ethic and proven ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Your attention to detail is exceptional, ensuring accuracy in all aspects of your work. • You have a completed MBO or Bachelor education within Biology, Chemistry, Life science or compatible;
• Experience in a laboratory and with GLP or GMP is a great plus;
• It is important that you speak, write, read and understand English.

In this role, you will play a part in maintaining a smoothly functioning laboratory. You will be working in line with Johnson & Johnson’s Credo and Leadership Imperatives. You'll find yourself contributing directly to the success of our laboratory teams. Your daily tasks will include:

• Handling and distributing laboratory materials (glassware, coats, etc.);
• Cleaning, assembling, sterilizing, disassembling, and decontaminating glassware;
• Maintaining and testing safety equipment (e.g., eye wash stations);
• Managing biological and chemical waste collection and disposal;
• Liaising with vendors for material and waste pick-up;
• Maintaining a clean and organized work environment;
• Keeping accurate and up-to-date records.

The advanced therapies team is part of Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine (former Janssen Biologics). The One Lab laboratories of the supply chain is in charge of the Release and Stability testing of drug substance and drug product. The lab is also in charge of testing and release of raw materials and testing of in process samples which are taken during the production process (fermentation and purification departments).
