As an Account Operations Representative at Converse, you will be responsible for strategic partners and their Account Development Plan. We are looking for someone who is experienced in Operations/Supply Chain and has a good understanding of working in a multinational consumer products environment.

It is a role for 40 hours a week till December 2025. You will work from the European Headquarters of Nike in Hilversum.

Salary between € 18,- till € 25,- per hour

In the role of Account Operations Representative, you will have to display a strong understanding of the integrated marketplace and supply chain operations processes. You’ll need to bring a strong retail and supply chain operations background, process improvement mindset and project management skills.
To be effective, you’ll possess a passion for data and analytics, a high degree of comfort with ambiguity, an ability to simplify the complex and communicate effectively at all levels of the organization. Your ability to set a direction and to prioritize will be extremely important.

What you bring:

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in Business Management and/or Supply Chain.
  • 4 years of relevant work experience in Operations/Supply Chain;
  • 4 years of experience in a multinational consumer products environment, and a good understanding of consumer, retail and servicing the marketplace;
  • You have experience in managing supplier and customer relationships and you have a customer service mindset with focus on delivering superior customer service;
  • You demonstrate strong conceptual understanding of supply chain business models;
  • You have advanced analytical and problem-solving skills including technical reporting skills;
  • Strong interpersonal and written/verbal English and Spanish communication skills (Italian is a pré) in a multinational environment with the ability to effectively communicate and influence various levels within a matrix structure;
  • Advanced level proficiency in using MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Experience with SAP is a plus.

As an Account Operations Representative (AOR), you will be responsible for strategic partners and their Account Development Plan. You will represent MPO in Integrated Account Team meetings and manage MPO related projects. On a daily base you will be in charge of pre- and inseason orderbook execution for strategic accounts to support sustainable and profitable growth for Converse. In this role you are accountable to drive a qualitative and healthy orderbook, achieving shipping targets through effective inventory management and delivering superior customer service.

What you will do:

  • Own and execute Account Development Plan, build and evolve relationship with your strategic partner counterpart, lead MPO related projects (profitability projects, implementation of new supply chain);
  • Tracking to business goals: drive the goal setting/forecasting process in close alignment with the integrated account team, and pro-actively track progress against goals within the season;
  • Drive orderbook quality: execute timely order book recon processes at the time of order entry andd rive seasonal execution excellence;
  • Execute shipping: provide available order reports to the account, receive and process IDP booking requests, work with distribution center, allocations upport, carrier, monitor delivery performance and solve problems including rebooking;
  • Manage launch: monitor incubate and brand focus launches against predefined service parameters in support of brand initiatives;
  • Analyze internal processes, order book patterns and shipping performance and identify root causes to suggest and act upon process improvement opportunities;
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key account and cross functional stakeholders.

In this role you will report to the Marketplace Operations Manager. You will work closely with the strategic accounts, commercial, finance, planning and operations teams.

At Converse, the Marketplace Operations (MPO) team takes pride in servicing the consumer in the integrated marketplace – whether they shop at one of our retail partners, in a Converse store or online.
The MPO team plays a key role in supporting the Converse growth and delivering premium consumer experiences. Amongst other activities, we are responsible to maximize in-season service, revenue and margin while keeping the marketplace healthy. We do so in close partnerships with our sales/digital direct, finance, S&OP and supply chain teams.
