"As a roller/walser, you play a crucial role in rolling and welding 8 to 11-meter plates with thicknesses of up to 110 mm into round hulls. Your workplace is on the Maasvlakte in Rotterdam. You don't need transportation, we can arrange that for you. You work fulltime and in 3 shifts.

• VCA Basic certificate in Dutch or English, or willing to obtain it.

You work with immense precision on perfect round hulls and cones. In the rolling and welding phase, you set parameters on the rolling machine according to instructions. Accuracy is a crucial aspect of this challenging role. Only minimal deviations are allowed. There is no other place in the Netherlands where you work with such large materials and with such precision. We offer you the chance to learn this, as there is also a training program. Our enormous steel monopile pipes for offshore wind farms withstand the elements, thanks in part to your meticulous work. Safety is a top priority. Before you begin, you ensure that you are wearing the correct protective gear and perform a check. Then, you set the equipment correctly and according to the prescribed procedures. You carefully monitor the quality of your work.
