As a packer, you’re physically capable of packing glasses quickly and efficiently while standing at the production line. Also, the following points are important:
- You are available for at least 4 days from Monday to Sunday. You choose which days!
- You live in Leerdam
- You are available for night shifts: 21:45-05:45
- Preferably also in morning and/or evening shifts: 05:45-13:45 and/or 13:45-21:45
As a packer, you will work in a glass factory where glasses are produced 24/7!
The production process is impressive, with ovens that make the glasses. The glasses are brought to you through a belt, where you pick them and place them in boxes. Then you put the boxes on pallets, which are picked up by a colleague with a forklift. In this way, you ensure that the glasses arrive at IKEA on time and making customers happy!
In the glass factory, formerly Libbey, you’ll be part of a great and diverse team of all ages and cultures. You’ll never work alone but always alongside 1 to 3 colleagues, creating a fun and friendly atmosphere! Everyone knows each other, making you feel welcome every day.
While there’s plenty of hard work to meet deadlines, you’ll be rewarded with a good salary. You can work 4 to 5 days a week, and it’s up to you whether you prefer weekdays or weekends. Do a great job, and you can stay longer.
