As a assistant teamlead, a proactive and solution-oriented attitude are very important. You work customer-oriented and result-oriented. You are enthusiastic and radiate this to inspire the employees. You can communicate well in English and you are willing to learn the Dutch language.

• MBO work and thinking level;
• Experience in a similar position;
• Knowledge of Excel, word and outlook;
• Full time available in 2 shifts (38 hours per week). And you are available once every 3 weeks on weekends;
• Willing to be trained at another location (Breda).

You will start with an extensive training period at the location in Breda as an assistent teamlead. From March 1 you will be ready to start working in the brand new warehouse in Geldermalsen. You are responsible for the daily operations of the department. You coordinate the work and direct the expedition employees, order pickers and reach truck drivers. In addition, your duties consist of:

• Solving problems, when necessary in consultation with the team leader;
• Distributing work, assigning employees and coordinating this with colleagues and internal departments;
• Thinking along about improving working methods and procedures;
• Managing a team of about 15 employees and training new employees;
• Ensuring compliance with quality and safety procedures.

• Immediate one-year contract as a assistant teamlead at Smeding and participation in the pension plan;
• On top of your salary you will receive shift bonus up to 300%, travel allowance and vacation allowance;
• Working according to a 2-shift schedule.
