For the warehouse worker position at Bidfood, some experience is helpful, but fast learners are also welcome. You will work in a cold warehouse with fresh products, so you need to be comfortable with low temperatures. You will start your training in Schiedam, and we will provide you with warm clothing to keep you comfortable. The job is physically demanding, so being fit is important. You also need to speak Dutch or English. You must be available to work full-time.

- Have experience driving an EPT (Electric Pallet Truck).
As an order picker, you will use a voice-picking system to collect orders. You will receive instructions through a headset on which products to pick. You will place the products in a roll container and move them with an order-pick truck. All products in the warehouse are fresh and need to stay cool, with a maximum temperature of 7 degrees Celsius. In the freezer area, the temperature is even below 0 degrees. Because you work in a cold environment, you will get an extra allowance on top of your salary.

Bidfood is a large company in the food service industry, providing fresh products, among other things. Bidfood has 16 locations in the Netherlands and a team of 1,700 employees. They serve around 25,000 clients across the country.
Regular bonuses:
Saturday between 17:00 - 24:00 and Sunday: 100% extra.
Cold work allowances:
Between 0 and 7 degrees Celsius: €0.53 extra per hour.
Between 0 and -18 degrees Celsius: €1.22 extra per hour.
