Electrical Technician

As an electrical technician you are responsible for maintaining the equipment at Strohm and carrying out repairs.

As an electrical technician at Strohm, you will be part of a team of six other technicians. You'll work with various types of machinery, where your ability to work independently and in a structured manner will be key. Safety is a priority for you.

• A completed MBO 4 education in electrical engineering.
• A NEN3140 certificate or be willing to obtain one.
• The ability to read electrical schematics.
• Experience with hand tools, electrical tools, and soldering equipment.
• Proficiency in Dutch OR English.
• Availability for on-call duty once every four weeks.

As an electrical technician, every day is different. Your day mainly consists of maintaining various machines and handling malfunctions that can occur at any moment. Additionally, you work on a tight schedule, because when the machines aren't running, production comes to a halt. Your tasks as an electrical technician include:

• Solving major and minor electrical malfunctions.
• Performing maintenance work.
• Advising and suggesting improvements to electrical installations to enhance problem resolution.
• Preparing permits and risk analyses.
