As the Machine Operator you have the ability to work effectively in a team environment, It is important to have a strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions. Previous experience in warehouse or logistics operations is a plus but not essential.
- Basic English is required.
As Machine Operator, you will be responsible for handling clothing stock, specifically garments that have fallen from hangers within the storage silos. Your main tasks will consist of collecting the fallen garments, assessing their condition and sorting them accordingly.
- Collect garments that have fallen to the ground from the storage silos.
- Inspect and categorize clothing based on its condition (e.g., damaged or ready for re-hanging).
- Maintain organization and cleanliness in the work area.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and a smooth operation.
- Follow company procedures and safety regulations at all times.
You will be working at GXO Logistics, a leading company responsible for the distribution of major clothing brands to over 7,000 stores in 92 countries. Our modern warehouse is located in Lelystad, right next to the A6, and is easily accessible by car.
