Senior accountant

Responsible for the accurate and timely execution of the corporate accounting function within a within a Geo for the specific income/spend type as applicable. Then read on quickly!

For this role we are looking for someone with the following experience:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance,Business, or related field
• 2+ years of experience in finance or accounting;
• Certified Public Accountant preferred (or localequivalent);
• Technical accounting knowledge;
• Certified Public Accountant preferred (or localequivalent);

For this roll you have to do for example, revenue, inventory, selling, general & admin expenses (SG&A) such as payroll, fixed assets, leases, close and consolidations, etc. Serves as the point of contact for business partners for Corporate accounting inquiries and resolves escalations.

• Maintains documentation of corporate accounting policies, procedures, and controls as influenced by local requirement;
• Reviews significant contracts to ensure accounting accuracy and appropriate accounting treatment, addressing any accountingimplications;
• Provides technical accounting guidance on complex transactions, including legal transactions, impairment, and investments;
• Prepares, reviews, and approves manual journal entries (MJEs) related ) related to specific income/spend type, and resolves complex;
• Prepares, reviews, and approves reporting packages of corporate accounting activities within a Geo;
• Reviews and approves MJEs prepared by MSP;
