Feel like supporting the world's biggest sport brand? We got a new position open at Nike, a Supply Chain Specialist. The Supply Chain Operations team takes pride in serving the consumer in the connected marketplace. We are looking for someone who speaks German and English fluently!

It is a role for 40 hours a week. We are looking for someone to start as soon as possible. You will work from the European Headquarters in Hilversum. It is a temporary role till the end of May 2025.

Salary based on experience: € 20,- € 28,- per hour

As our Supply Chain Specialist you always start with the consumer in mind. You improve service, growth and profitability to meet the financial and operational targets of your business area while delivering on Nike’s strategy. You have a deep understanding of business operations and are accountable for consumer/athlete/customer satisfaction, operational reliability, and improving inventory efficiency by effective order/contract management. You utilize diagnostic and predictive analytics to make smart business decisions. You keep your business partners advised of risks and opportunities, and partner with operational functions to find optimal supply chain and commercial solutions. You engage in key projects evolving existing business capabilities using agile principles.

  • 1-3 years’ experience in a supply chain, allocation, planning, or back of house leadership role for a Retail or Consumer Goods business, and a passion for operations;
  • Experience in working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to drive a best-in-class customer service;
  • Analytical skills which support a result driven approach delivering operational excellence;
  • Innovative mentality and proven track record in leading and delivering process improvement;
  • You will demonstrate knowledge of Financial acumen, Modeling & Analysis, Order management;
  • Digital literacy: MS office, advanced Excel, SAP;
  • Strong service focus and a proactive demeanor;
  • You speak German and English fluently.

You will work in a cross-functional agile environment that spans across EMEA and services the MPU’s operational business needs. Within this role, you will partner closely with multiple cross-functional teams such as Sales, Merchandising, Planning, Finance as well as our Nike logistical functions/carrier network and some wholesale customers.

Below you will find some of your tasks:

  • Execute efficient order management to plan and deliver seasonal order books for your customers.
  • You will take ownership of order execution, working in close alignment with the account, distribution and carrier teams;
  •  Optimize on-time and in-full delivery, inventory (holds), coverage, cancellations, contract call-offs and other services. You will also support in setting shipping goals and monitor progress against the targets of your customer;
  • Work in partnership with your customer’s team and develop excellent working relationships. You’ll deliver customer service excellence through speed of response and availability to questions, complaints and ad-hoc requests;
  • Represent operations within the MPU cross-functional team to ensure a balanced marketplace, mutual profitable growth and effective mechanics of inventory management.
  •  You will have regular interaction with internal and external partners within a sophisticated matrix environment;
  •  Run product launches in close collaboration with the launch coordinator and the other MPU functions.
