Warehouse associate

We are looking for a Warehouse Associate to join the Nike team! Are you a Nike lover, enthusiastic, eager to learn and available immediately? We are looking for you!

Nike just opened a VAN store at the Nike Campus. The VAN is an employee purchase channel designed to highlight promote product sales to Nike's fellow teammates. It is a role for 40 hours a week. You will be working from the European Headquarters of Nike in Hilversum.

It is a temporary role due to sickness. For instance it is a role for two months. The assignment might be extended.

We are looking for someone with the following competences and knowledge:

• You are a strong communicator and have a positive attitude;
• Tolerance for ambiguity;
• You have affinity with retail and sports;
• You are strong at multi-tasking and have strong organization skills;
• You have experience working in a warehouse or retail environment;
• Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds, above head and on ground;
• You demonstrate initiative and are able to work independently within a team environment;
• You have strong written and oral English skills.

Nike is expanding the VAN’s capabilities and operations in Eurpoe. The VAN is an employee purchase channel designed to highlight promote product sales to Nike's fellow teammates. As Nike's build out the foundation here in Europe, we are looking for a warehouse associate to join the team.

Your main task will be the store, but we do expect you to support the warehouse activities in free times. Below you can find some of the requirements:

• Deliver service and attention to all consumers. Assist the team in executing all daily retail operations to ensure premium service and smooth store functioning;
• Develop positive relationships with consumers and teammates. Model reliability and flexibility by being able to work varied hours and days to meet the needs of the business;
• Maintain knowledge of various store departments and be available to operate cash register for regular transactions, perform shipping and receiving duties, stock the floor, perform cleaning duties, and build visual displays when necessary;
• Receive, review and process customer orders accurately and efficiently using order management system;
• Monitor inventory levels, coordinate with the team to ensure stock availability and update inventory records as necessary.
• Select items from inventory according to customer orders, pack them securely, and prepare them for shipment;
• Coordinate with shipping carriers to arrange pickups and deliveries, generate shipping labels, and ensure timely shipment of orders to customers.
• Handle returns and exchanges by processing return requests, issuing refunds or replacements.
