As an assembly worker, you enjoy working with tools and are familiar with mechanical tasks. You have experience using various (hand) tools and can read technical drawings. Also:
- You want to work full-time in a day shift
- You are willing to learn Dutch or are learning Dutch
- Are fluent in English
- You preferably have a completed technical education
- you preferably have work experience in a related field
As an assembly worker at Hyster-Yale, you’ll be building forklifts. You’ll be part of the assembly department and eventually work at different stations. The work processes and techniques are new and advanced. With a thorough onboarding process and internal training, you’ll quickly be trained as an all-round mechanic. This keeps your job varied and challenging. Besides assembling your part of the forklift, you’ll also check the production line and make adjustments if needed. You’ll keep tools clean and track your tasks for the day. The tasks are clearly described in work instructions, and your colleagues are happy to help if you need extra assistance. You’ll be working in a fully ergonomic facility, ensuring you can perform your job safely.
You’ll be joining a large international forklift manufacturer, Hyster-Yale. In Nijmegen, hundreds of trucks are built each year by a team of about 500 employees. Despite the size of the company, the atmosphere remains informal and friendly. Come and strengthen the team as an assembly worker!
