As a warehouse employee at Bidfood, you must speak either Dutch or English on B1 level. Preferably, you already have experience with tasks like order picking, but it’s not neccessary. Ideally, you have your own transportation due to the morning shift hours. Also, you recognize yourself in the following:
- You are available for at least 16 hours per week, including weekends. Bidfood also offers full-time options.
- You are physically fit because you can lift boxes of maximum 20 kilos
- You don’t mind occasionally working on a Saturday or Sunday.
- You are available to work morning shifts during the first 3 weeks of the training program (requirement).
- You have preferably already worked with a voice picking system. No experience? No problem! We'll teach you during the onboarding process!
As an order picker, you assemble orders using instructions from the voice-picking system. You locate the products, place them in roll-carts, and deliver the full container to the loading point. The formers receive the carts, and then you move on to the next order. Physical work, such as lifting boxes up to 20 kg, is required.
- Once in 4 weeks you will work in the night shift from 22.00-06.30 where you will do different chores.
Bidfood is the top online wholesaler for hotels, restaurants, and bars in the Netherlands. As an order picker in Ede, you'll help deliver high-quality products to these establishments. Work at either the National Distribution Center (LDC) for shelf-stable items or the National Fresh Center (LVC), where cool products are stored at 4°C. You'll enjoy a cool working environment and an extra €0.53 per hour due to the fact you work in a cooler loaction..
