As an assembly worker, you enjoy tinkering and are familiar with mechanical work. You have worked with various (hand) tools and can read technical drawings. In addition:
- you want to work fulltime in dayshift
- speak dutch or english
- preferably have a completed technical education or work experience
As an assembly worker at Hyster-Yale, you will manufacture lift trucks. You are part of the assembly department and will eventually end up working at various stations. The work processes and techniques are new and advanced. Through a good introduction program and internal training, you will be trained to become an all-round mechanic within a short period of time. This keeps your job varied and challenging. Besides assembling your part of the forklift truck, you check the line and make adjustments where necessary. You also keep tools clean and keep track of the day's tasks. The tasks are well described in work instructions. And your colleagues are happy to help you should you need extra help. You work in a hall that is completely ergonomic, so you can do your job safely.

You will be joining a major international manufacturer of forklift trucks, Hyster-Yale. Hundreds of trucks are built in Nijmegen every year, along with as many as 500 employees.
