We are looking for a Marketplace Business Analyst to join the Marketplace Assortmnent Planner JD team!

It is a temporary role due to maternity leave till the end of the year. Are you flexible, a team player, curious and do you have work experience in retail planning? We are looking for you!

It is a role for 40 hours a week. Nike has a hybrid working model, working 3 days at the office and 2 days from home. We are looking for someone that can start as soon as possible.

We are looking for someone that has the following knowledge and competences:

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or STEM related field;
  • Minimum of two years' experience working as an analyst, experience in Digital and/or Supply Chain are a plus;
  • For this role it is necessary to have retail accument, work experience in retail planning is a big pré;
  • Strong analytical mindset and ability to turn data into actionable business insights;
  • Advanced knowledge in writing SQL queries and manipuliating data for analysis;
  • You have advanced Excel and Tableau skills, you have experience in building visualizations and dashboards;
  • You are a teamplayer, curious, flexible and a strong communicator;
  • Experience using data analysis-oriented programming languages such as Python or R is a plus.

As a Marketplace Business Analyst will support the account planning team, regarding pre-planning & in-season management, working with multiple team members. Using data from multiple sources, to conduct analysis & generate predictive forecasting, based on multiple factors and supporting the decision process. This role sits at the interaction of assortment and account data. Delivers scalable insights and solutions to inform decision making at key gates of the assortment planning process.

This role is a part of the Market Place Planning Team. You will work closely with multiple business stakeholders and partners (Planning, Merchandising, Finance, MPO, etc).

  •  Pull and report data from numerous databases (using SQL, Excel, Visualizations tools like Tableau/PowerBI and/or other data management systems);
  •  Proven capability to dive deep and utilize known research and problem-solving techniques;
  • Design, develop, and establish KPIs to provide strategic insights to drive growth and performance
  • Develop standardized metrics to evaluate and benchmark pertaining to short- and long-term product related planning and forecasting;
  • Systematically identify data source / forecasting error and follow through on resolutions;
  • Communicate complex insights to stakeholders, both verbally and in writing.

Your team consists of 12 people. Furthermore, you will be in contact with a lot of different stakeholders, internally and externally. Together with your team you are focused on the Marketplace JD department.
